About Wendy Waxman

A Southern California native, I went to Berlin, Germany, to complete my M.A. in 2002 and stayed there for 13 years. During that time, I began working at an international student exchange organization. I worked in sales and marketing, and later provided in house trainings.

In 2010, I became certified as a Behavioural and Communications Trainer by artop - Institut an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (226 hours of education and practical application) and founded Waxman Training. In 2014, I became certified as a Systemic Business Coach through Steinbeis Hochschule Berlin and Kröber Kommunikation (208 hours of education and practical application). During this certification process, I began coaching women, helping them define life goals and find ways to navigate motherhood in a satisfying way. Coaching for Mamas was “born” in Bellingham out of the desire to connect with this special community and support mothers going through transition.

When I am not working, I enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest with my husband, two children, and our adopted dog. Many times I have thought that having children is much like moving to a foreign country; to this day I continue to learn the language and culture of motherhood. And because we are raising our children bilingual, the language of our everyday is often a hilarious mix of German and English.
